In October 2007 'mystery' stone heads appeared all over the north of England and in Scotland. The story made quite an impact and spread through the global media.

56 stone carved heads spread out in randomly chosen locations - dropped in the middle of the night. For a week the world's press were kept guessing, trying to solve cryptic riddles left with the heads and put a label on why theses carved heads appeared...a captivating modern folk lore story. Was it a publicity stunt? The truth ...NO... a bit of fun, a prank and altruistic venture. It didn't need a label or to tick a box.

Please read the press, enjoy the story and make your own conclusions.
